Who we are

A firm built around one area of law.

MyEnergyClaim was founded by practitioners who had spent years in financial services litigation and saw the same pattern repeating itself: businesses paying more than they should for energy, with the difference going quietly to a broker who told them the service was free.

The legal basis for these claims, agency law and the duty to disclose a secret or undisclosed commission, is well established in English law. What was missing was a firm that combined that legal foundation with a structured process for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing claims at scale without sacrificing the quality of individual case handling.

That is what we built. Our case handlers work exclusively on energy mis-selling. Our panel solicitors are instructed only on cases we have already assessed as viable. Every client has a named contact from the first call to the final settlement.

Our legal partners.

We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We work with a panel of specialist solicitors, all regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, who handle the legal proceedings on our clients behalf.

We assess cases, manage the client relationship, gather the contract documentation, and brief the legal team. Our panel solicitors conduct the litigation. Fees are agreed in writing before any work begins.

If a case does not meet our threshold for viability, we tell the client promptly and honestly. We do not pursue claims we do not believe in.


What we cover

We handle claims for businesses of all sizes, across all sectors, in England and Wales. The minimum claim we pursue is around £2,000. There is no upper limit.
